As the demand for creative clean energy solutions grows, we continue to demonstrate the versatility of our floating solar technology across a wide range of environments. From residential communities to large-scale industrial sites, our recent project milestones highlight how we are helping organizations maximize their existing water assets without compromising land use. Below is an update on our current operations and the diverse ways our systems are being deployed.
Residential Integration
Orlando, Florida
The Kelson Apartments project demonstrates how our floating solar technology integrates into residential infrastructure without disrupting land use. This 114 kW system is fully operational, utilizing a managed water body to generate clean power on-site. The project features our integrated LD walkway, designed to support the combiner box and electrical components proving that access, safety, and electrical routing can be seamlessly incorporated into floating layouts.

Scaling for Industry
Inola, Oklahoma
We are currently leading the development of a 1.8 MW floating solar system at Sofidel’s Inola facility. Once commissioned, it will serve as a premier example of how floating solar fits into large-scale manufacturing and corporate energy strategies.

Validating Performance
DOE Tallahassee Demonstration
In collaboration with the U.S. Department of Energy, our 50 kW demonstration project in Tallahassee is fully operational. This site serves as a real-world validation center, providing performance and durability insights under Florida’s unique environmental conditions while helping us accelerate the acceptance of floating solar across municipal and utility markets.

Adaptability in Motion
San Acacia Canal
At the San Acacia Canal in New Mexico, we delivered two 7 kW systems totaling 14 kW. These systems demonstrate our adaptability in constrained waterways through a specialized installation featuring custom wheels. The design allows the units to float or rest securely on the canal bed as water levels fluctuate. This configuration highlights our ability to engineer solutions for non-traditional sites where standard infrastructure is not feasible. We are currently in the design phase for four larger canal systems based on this successful demonstration.

Expanding Our Portfolio
Beyond these highlights, we have several projects currently in production. These include a 2.4 MW system at a mining facility in Sumterville, Florida and a 1.7 MW installation at a water utilities facility in Bonita Springs, Florida—both of which will be installed by Alternative Energy Services. Additionally, Urban Solar will be installing our 460.08 kW project in Rockledge, Florida. As more organizations recognize the value of utilizing water assets for clean energy, we continue to expand our footprint by delivering proven, repeatable systems designed to scale alongside evolving infrastructure needs.
