AccuSolar is proud to announce its role in a major renewable energy milestone: a 1.5-megawatt AC floating solar array for Bonita Springs Utilities, Inc., to be installed at the utility’s East Water Reclamation Facility on Operations Way, off Wellfield Road.
Approved by the Bonita Springs Utilities board, the project will place the floating array on an existing reclamation pond turning underutilized water surface into a clean energy resource. Construction is currently underway on site, with installation expected to wrap up this fall and the system fully operational by the end of the year.
This project is being installed in partnership with Alternative Energy Services, Inc. (AES), a leader in the renewable energy sector leading the on-site installation work.
