We’re thrilled to announce that AccuSolar has been awarded a 2.4MW floating solar project at a mining facility in Florida! This achievement marks another significant stride in the advancement of floating solar in the United States.
Our strong partnership with Alternative Energy Services, Inc makes this exciting development possible. AES has been vital to the development of the project, and we anticipate installation beginning before end of year, with a commissioning in early 2026.
The project highlights the AccuSolar design for seasonal adjustments and safe stow during high wind events, which are only part of the challenging environmental conditions we experience in the sunshine state. The superior benefits of our advanced floating solar systems are specifically engineered for durability, straightforward installation, and exceptional long-term performance.
AccuSolar will begin ordering materials and manufacturing the floating solar system in the coming weeks. We proudly use all USA made raw materials in our 65,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Pompano Beach, Florida.
“This 2.4MW project is a big milestone for AccuSolar as well as floating solar in Florida as a whole,” said Jason Harrison, Founder and CEO of AccuSolar. “We’ve worked with Alternative Energy Services, Inc. for years on several projects. Their expertise and reliability were key to getting this one to the finish line. It’s a clear example of what’s possible when proven teams collaborate with a shared vision. I expect to be able to share more news from AccuSolar and AES in the very near future.”
Stay tuned for more updates as this exciting project progresses!
